We launched our modular security cages to provide customers with safe, durable and flexible solutions for secure storage.
We developed the range using expanded metal infill panels which provide resilience, visibility and airflow. The product is delivered flat packed – which reduces transport costs – and is easy to assemble and disassemble with the provided fixtures.
The security cages are available in three standard sizes, of 2m x 1m, 2m x 2m and 4m x 2m, each with a double hinge door, and are hot dip galvanised to EN ISO 1461:2022. We are also often able to offer next day delivery to mainland UK.
We can also work with customers to develop bespoke solutions. Longstanding customer Swansea Council, for example, contacted us with a specific requirement for a new bin store. And this was the result...
Developing a bespoke security cage
Typically, we manufacture our modular security cages with 3394F, which is a large, flattened steel mesh. However, Swansea Council approached us to develop a smaller mesh that would prevent the ingress of pests to its bin store, which would be located at a secondary school.
We therefore opted for a bespoke mesh, ExMesh™ 1576, which has smaller apertures and therefore could stop pests from gaining access.
Ian James, pre-measurer / estimator at Swansea Council commented on the easy installation of the bin storage cage: “My team who assembled the cage onsite said it was great to put together, and we’re really appreciative of bespoke cage for our bin storage. We will definitely use this system again in the future.”
Our modular security cages are durable and come hot dip galvanised to EN ISO 1461:2022 with the option to be polyester powder coated in a range of RAL colours, making them suitable for long-term use outside. They are also lockable with a variety of padlocks.
