We have bolstered our ExMesh™ physical security range with the introduction of a new certified fencing system.
ExMesh™ Class 1 security fencing has achieved Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) Loss Prevention Standard (LPS) 1175 SR1: Issue 8* certification and as such is designed to provide resistance against attacks with a range of tools.
The steel mesh product has been created to protect utilities infrastructure, telecoms facilities, retail sites, transport hubs and more from threats such as theft, trespass and vandalism.
ExMesh™ Class 1 fencing complements the LPCB LPS 1175 SR2-rated Class 2 fencing and LPCB LPS 1175 SR3-rated Class 3 fencing – meaning that we can offer a comprehensive range of certified fencing solutions to safeguard high-risk sites such as Government buildings,
Philip Astley, managing director at The Expanded Metal Company said: “I’m proud that we have continued to develop and enhance our product range throughout 2020.
“By manufacturing a fencing product with LPS 1175 SR1 certification, we can offer an additional cost-effective solution which provides contractors and end users with valuable peace of mind.
“We work hand in hand with the security industry to ensure that our mesh fencing systems provide robust perimeter protection and can be easily installed in challenging environments – and our Class 1 fencing is a prime example of that.”
